This is my last part to the Stupid Pathetic Morons page. In previous weeks I reported on this page in Weeks #3 , #11, and #12. As the semester comes to an end, I must say that John, the person who maintains this page, had a very good idea. This is an area where people can vent their frustrations by telling all what happened to them. It is a page that people can read and really relate to because everyone who drives has had something stupid happen to them on the road.

Well, onto this week's story. This incident happened on the West Beltline Highway (I'm not sure where). As the author driving in the right lane, he noticed that he was approaching an on ramp and wanted to move to the left in order to allow the oncoming cars to get on the highway. While in the middle of the cut, the car behind also decides to cut to the left. That cars not only decides to cut to the left, but also cuts the author off so he's stuck between the car and a bus coming onto the freeway. The author says that he was just hoping that the car who cut him off would continue to speed up so he could get into the lane. Then to top it off, after the car passed she slowed down and got off at the next off ramp. How frustrating!

I wonder what this person was thinking. Why would someone accelerate, cut off a car, then slow down and get off the highway? It just doesn't make sense. The logical thing to do would to just stay in the right lane and get off where you want to. I don't think I would ever do something that stupid, but I have seen things very similar to this happen. It's probably because people don't think before they act.
