Virus called "GOOD TIMES", be careful
VIRUSES--IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
There is a computer virus that is being sent across the
Internet. If you receive an e-mail message with the subject
line "Good Times", DO NOT read the message,DELETE it
immediately. Please read the messages below. Some miscreant
is sending e-mail under the title "Good Times" nation wide,
if you get anything like this,DON'T DOWN LOAD THE FILE! It
has a virus that rewrites your hard drive, obliterating
anything on it. Please be careful and forward this mail to
anyone you care about.

Free long distance telephone
Hi friends, look what I found. If you have Windows and a modem
you can talk on the Internet long distance free with anyone also
on the internet. Too bad I have a Mac at home!! Or, too bad they
don't have a Mac version...

Hi everyone, just in case you don't know netscape 2.0 is now being
offered at http://netscape.com. It allows you to edit and use Java and
it's not a stinking beta meaning it won't expire like past one's. Also,
there is the version for PC's and Macs now. So if you want to get with it
go get it.
Java pages are so cool. Their really alive and multimedia!
It's totally cool except for the extremely long upload times. It's
inadvisable to make a homepage for class with this but checking other
homepages are cool.

I'm sure you all are exausted from working on your midterm files and
don't want to hear about this at least until after spring break...but, I
want to apologize to some of you and ask the rest to bear with me. Over the
weekend I found a way to spell check, which since I am so ignorant of the
uhnix and css system, I felt everyone knew about except me. However, I
spoke to some of you and found out some may not know about it. Its a
little late for the midterm files, but I hope it helps some of you in the
Just type spell, space and the name of the file at the www prompt.
It's that easy. It goes right into a spell check. Sorry I didn't come
up with it earlier, but, what can I say? I am just getting found after
being completely lost for weeks...See some of you in class, and good luck
