There is a computer virus that is being sent across the Internet. If you receive an e-mail message with the subject line "Good Times", DO NOT read the message,DELETE it immediately. Please read the messages below. Some miscreant is sending e-mail under the title "Good Times" nation wide, if you get anything like this,DON'T DOWN LOAD THE FILE! It has a virus that rewrites your hard drive, obliterating anything on it. Please be careful and forward this mail to anyone you care about.

Free long distance telephone

Hi friends, look what I found. If you have Windows and a modem you can talk on the Internet long distance free with anyone also on the internet. Too bad I have a Mac at home!! Or, too bad they don't have a Mac version...

IRC chats

Hi everyone, just in case you don't know netscape 2.0 is now being offered at It allows you to edit and use Java and it's not a stinking beta meaning it won't expire like past one's. Also, there is the version for PC's and Macs now. So if you want to get with it go get it.
Java pages are so cool. Their really alive and multimedia! It's totally cool except for the extremely long upload times. It's inadvisable to make a homepage for class with this but checking other homepages are cool.

Spell Check

Hi folks!
I'm sure you all are exausted from working on your midterm files and don't want to hear about this at least until after spring break...but, I want to apologize to some of you and ask the rest to bear with me. Over the weekend I found a way to spell check, which since I am so ignorant of the uhnix and css system, I felt everyone knew about except me. However, I spoke to some of you and found out some may not know about it. Its a little late for the midterm files, but I hope it helps some of you in the end.
Just type spell, space and the name of the file at the www prompt. It's that easy. It goes right into a spell check. Sorry I didn't come up with it earlier, but, what can I say? I am just getting found after being completely lost for weeks...See some of you in class, and good luck to all.
