My Visit to Nicole Gustie's Homepage

APPEARANCE & STRUCTURE

This page and all the alternate homepages were very basic with no color changes, backgrounds or graphics, which kind of makes me wonder why I stayed here. Perhaps it was her really BIG headings that provided some visual stimulation, these headings also made her page easy to follow. The weekly reports were pretty easy reading since they were broken into sub-sections, no endless sea of text here (I like that)!! It would've been helpful if the links were annotated, I was kind of mislead by the fun link, it really wasn't fun at all. Though her pages were very basic, they were straightforward and pretty easy to get through, there wasn't a lot of clutter.

CONTENT

What Nicole writes in her lab reports is very similar to all the other reports I've read. She talks about her feelings of frustration, confusion and pessimism, something to which nearly everyone can relate, especially myself. In her week 5 report she states that taking detailed notes in class will help lots when you're in the lab later, this is partially true. Detailed notes do help, but if you're just beyond lost the detailed notes just don't fit together and make no sense. In Nicole's very last report it says that she'd like to see these reports remain in cyberspace forever, I however have a very different opinion. If I could, I would erase everything after this semester is over, only because I know my stuff could be a lot better, so I feel kind of shame. Anyway, in summary, the content of Nicole's reports were a lot like everyone elses.
