The Khemaras Center — a place for Cambodian community and worship

Every Sunday afternoon, people gather at the bottom steps of the Khemaras Center in Manoa, chatting and having lunch. The center, which is the Cambodian outreach of the University Avenue Baptist Church, began as a place of local support for Cambodian families to worship.

Frear Hall Construction

The construction of Frear Hall began last year and is estimated to be completed over the summer. Students are eager for its completion so that they may be the first to enter the new dorms, which include air conditioning and a game room on each floor.
